ABOUT OUR MINISTRY
We live in a fallen and broken world, and with that comes an increasing number of struggles and hardships. As followers of Jesus Christ, meeting these needs requires that we gain a better understanding of how to minister to Mental Health struggles, both among believers and outside of the faith community. Our goal at H.M.S. Ministries is to bring a better understanding of what kinds of Mental Health issues people are facing, alleviate the stigma and misconceptions surrounding those issues, and help to equip the faith community with practical ideas of how to minister to those needs.

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,

the oil of joy

and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the Lord
for the display of his splendor.
