This is not going to be our usual monthly blog post. I have been extremely busy as of late and have not had time to write a new blog post. Perhaps you might be asking, "Why have I been so busy?" BECAUSE LIVE EVENTS ARE UNDERWAY AS WE SPEAK!
A few weeks ago, on May 11th, we had our first live event since the Covid-19 lockdowns. Calvary Baptist Church in Bastrop, TX hosted a introductory seminar on Loss and Grief in a Post-Covid world. The seminar was a great time and the response was amazing. If you happen to be one of the people who attended the seminar, thank you so much for being a part of this event.
As part of the event, we announced the impending in-depth training series and the formation of a Loss and Grief Support Group. I have been intently working on preparing for the in-depth training sessions which begin on June 8th, and the support group is currently in the works and will be beginning as soon as possible. It is so great to be doing live, in-person events again. While the virtual activities were an acceptable substitute, it is not the same.
With all that being said, I fully intend to continue with the monthly blog articles, but they may come a little more slowly than before and we may experience some delays in the process due to other responsibilities. But, if you want to be a part of one of our live events, or if you are interested in hosting a live event at your church or in your community, please contact us so we can try to make that happen.
